Alexa and Jonathan were married at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, California, and it was truly a day to remember.

Alexa started her big day getting ready at her childhood home down the street in Pleasanton with her bridesmaids, fueled by champagne and In N Out. After doing a first look with her bridesmaids (which I highly recommend doing!), we drove over to the Palm Event Center to capture bridal party photos and prepare Alexa to walk down the aisle to Jonathan!

Alexa and Jonathan opted out of doing a first look, and instead, did a pre-ceremony hand holding underneath the palm trees at the Palm Event Center. It was a magical, intimate moment, filled with anticipation and tears, as they held hands without seeing each other dressed to get married. Doing a ritual like this is a great alternative to a first look (and makes for the sweetest photos!).

If asked what my favorite moment of the wedding day was, it would be when Jonathan saw Alexa walk down the aisle with her dad. He immediately covered his face, in complete shock at how stunning Alexa looked in her La Soie Bridal dress. There wasn’t a dry eye among the guests.

Alexa and Jonathan’s wedding at Palm Event Center was the perfect blend of intimacy and luxury. The hints of maroon flowers to compliment the breathtaking flower installment by Delford West Flowers created a visual experience their guests will never forget!
