A single image is a snapshot into someone's story and I hope this blog will introduce you to some of the love stories I've had the honor of capturing.
I am so excited to share highlights from Kat + Kevin’s intimate wedding at Brava Garden Eatery in Downtown Pleasanton! It is impossible to look through their wedding album without a huge smile on your face – their day was filled with joy, celebration, and laughter as these two tied the knot!
We started the day at an Airbnb in Livermore, where family and friends gathered to get ready together and enjoy donuts by Mushroom Momma (which, by the way, are AMAZING). The morning’s energy was lighthearted and joyful, as Kat and Kevin got ready in separate areas of the house before their first look. Kat got dressed with the help of her Mom and sister, and could not have looked more stunning in her Vici dress and bridal ponytail! And let’s talk about her Sam Edelman shoes… I am obsessed! They were the perfect “something blue” and complimented her short wedding dress perfectly.
Once Kat and Kevin completed their first look, we drove over to Alviso Adobe in Pleasanton for family photos and couple portraits. Kat and Kevin opted to finish all of their portraits before the ceremony at Alviso Adobe, which allowed them to fully enjoy their wedding and be present for their guests!
My favorite part of the day was the wedding ceremony. Kat lit up the ceremony space with her energy and million-dollar smile – there wasn’t a dry eye as she walked down the aisle! It was impossible to not smile the entire time Kat and Kevin were saying their vows – their love for each other was so abundant and simple. It was obvious they were made for one another and the perfect match. Once they were officially announced husband and wife, the guests cheered as Kat and Kevin danced their way back down the aisle.
Dinner was served by Brava Garden Eatery, with course after course coming out to be enjoyed by guests. They also had an open bar with the CUTEST drink sign I’ve ever seen, made by GG Prints, which gave a nod to their fur babies. Every. single. detail. of the wedding was thoroughly thought out and designed – from the custom napkins, to the table set-up, to the menus, to the florals! Kat truly created an experience for her guests, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
We ended the night with an open dance floor and sparkler exit in downtown Pleasanton. And of course, cake!
Thank you so much Kat and Kevin for choosing me to capture your wedding at Braza Garden Eatery in Downtown Pleasanton. You truly know how to throw a party!!
